Its strange that we are talking about maybe our first noticable snow fall for New England. I have been waiting for snow so I could try my new Sigma macro lens. After seeing some photos in a magazine of snow flakes I thought it would be fun to try catching them up close. Its a challenge because they start melting very quickly. The background on this photo is the purple cloth from a blanket my mother made for me years ago.
