St. Govan’s Chapel

This is one of the most picturesque 6th century hermits’ chapels in all of Britain.  It is named after the hermit and saint who lived there now so many centuries ago, St. Govan.  The chapel is located right on the cliffs of the spectacular Pembrokeshire National Park, near the small village of Bosherston.  What they know of him is encrusted with legend, and its no longer possible to distinguish simple facts from fiction. The legends are pretty cool!

Kansas Windmill

Believe it or not I grew up with windmills in Kansas.  They are hard to find now because they’re not being used as much and the ones you see now are old and not functioning.

Turkeys everywhere!

In new England we have turkeys. Its so cool to see the traffic stopping for the birds crossing the road. Its surprises me that so many people actually stop so the turkeys can cross at their pace. I used the watercolor filter in Photoshop for this look.
